3 - Part Harmony, our flagship tincture, consists of Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris), Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus), and Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) mushrooms.
Due to its powerful anti-aging properties, Reishi has been called “The Elixir of Immortality.” Cordyceps naturally increases the body’s energy and Lion’s Mane promotes nerve growth and repairs the myelin sheath (the insulating layer that forms around nerves in the brain and spinal cord). This trio of mushrooms thus benefits the yogic tri-partite structure of the human being (“Body, Speech (Energy), and Mind”):*

Body: Bone Breathing is an exercise purported to stimulate the growth of red and white blood cells in the bone marrow. Regular practice of Bone Breathing may enhance the effects of Reishi (& vice versa).
Energy: External Kumbhaka is a breathing exercise purported to increase the production of ATP molecules. Regular practice of External Kumbhaka may enhance the effects of Cordyceps (& vice versa).
Mind: Making Happy Hormones is an exercise purported to stimulate the brain and nervous system. Regular practice of Making Happy Hormones may enhance the effects of Lion’s Mane (& vice versa).
Warnings: There are no known warnings for taking Cordyceps and Lion’s Mane. Reishi should not be taken in high doses. The recommended dose for Apollo’s Lyre 3-Part Harmony tincture is one dropper-full (1 ml.) once or twice per day and is a safe dosage.
Apollo’s Lyre 3-Part Harmony tinctures are hand-crafted in small batches and blessed with healing mantras throughout the entire production process. The fruiting bodies of all three mushrooms and the Cordyceps mycelial biomass (organic brown rice) are used in a double extraction process that extracts all the beneficial constituents of the mushroom. The first extraction is with alcohol, which pulls out the triterpenes (found naturally in plants, having anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-viral compounds) and the second extraction is with hot water, which pulls out the beta-glucans (polysaccharides which support immune health, gut microbiome, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels).
